The RFID Web Wedge application offers a practical solution for integrating TSL's high-performance 1128 Bluetooth® UHF RFID and 1153 Bluetooth® Wearable UHF RFID Readers into existing web-based workflows. Designed to facilitate direct data input from the RFID reader into web applications, the app minimizes development overhead by eliminating the need for extensive programming adjustments.
Operationally, the application supports one-handed trigger scanning, enabling efficient data capture. It populates text fields within any web-based form with custom data and identifiers obtained from UHF RFID transponders, streamlining the process of inventorying or monitoring assets.
Key features of RFID Web Wedge include:
- Single Shot mode, allowing users to capture data from individual tags directly into on-screen fields
- Continuous Scan mode, suitable for inventorying large quantities of tags with a single tap
- Adjustable reader power settings to optimize scanning in high-density tag environments or for single tag input
- Capability to capture either EPC identifiers, user-defined blocks of tag data, or both
- Conversion of incoming data into ASCII text format for compatibility with various tag encodings
- Automatic loading of custom URLs as the application's start page
Built on TSL's advanced parameterized ASCII 2 Protocol, RFID Web Wedge provides access to a suite of pre-configured commands that enable complex operations within the Bluetooth® RFID readers. This facilitates rapid integration and deployment in various applications, offering a balance of simplicity and powerful functionality.
